Chocolate and Cheese Croissants

I remember my high school french teacher telling our class that she used to run home and make this quick snack after school.  It's such a quirky combination that I thought it sounded unappetizing at the time but was proved wrong when I first got a taste of it.

It's enough to satisfy a sweet tooth and hold over an empty tummy until dinner or munch on as a before bedtime snack.

Here's What You Need:

1 croissant, baguette, roll, etc. sliced
Nutella or other chocolate spread -OR- 1/4 cup melted chocolate chips
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
Spread the chocolate on the bread and top with cheese.  Broil for a few minutes in the oven until the cheese is melted and has turned slightly golden.  Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
