But it was so worth it.caramel corn recipe and produces a gooey, sticky treat that everyone loves. Just make sure you keep a close eye on any children who stick their hands in the popcorn or you'll have tacky fingerprints everywhere they can reach.
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 stick butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
6 quarts popped popcorn, lightly salted (the original recipe calls for microwaved popcorn but for the sake of all that is good, use stove popped corn. Here's help if you need it).
Pour over the popcorn and mix until it's covered evenly. Allow to cool and enjoy!
