5 Tablespoons butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 Tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Combine butter, sugars and salt. Add in vanilla. Blend in flour a little at a time until incorporated. Finally, add the chocolate chips.
If you'd like to bake them up, shape into balls and put in a 350F oven for about 8 minutes--do not over bake. They should still be slightly soft when pulled from the oven and removed to a wire rack or paper sack to cool.
